The Khan Ohana Foundation has assisted members of the Oglala Lakota/Oglala Sioux Tribes in South Dakota and Native American families in Oklahoma. We help Native American families by collecting and distributing necessities such as food, clothing, baby items, school supplies, household goods, and furniture.
Refugee & Immigrant Assistance
The Khan Ohana Foundation is the only Muslim organization in Oklahoma that is completing the resettlement of Afghan refugees, including housing, employment, health, and benefits. In addition, we assist other organizations in their resettlement efforts by:
Serving hot meals to over 850 Afghan Refugees arriving in Tulsa.
Providing welcome kits that include a Qur’an, prayer rugs, and dhikr/tasbih beads.
Conducting ESL Classes for Afghan Refugees.
Working with Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma and B’nai Emunah to serve their clients.
